Top Two Favorite Books
1.
I fell in love with these books from the moment they hit the shelves, and turned my mother and everyone I'd ever met onto them. My mother still has the books, she won't give them back she loves them so much, ha! I have never found a series of books that literally made me roll on the floor laughing as Sophie Kinsella does. She is a literary mastermind! I just adore her characters personalities. I could read them over and over and not get tired of them. I would die waiting for the next one to come out and as sooon as it did I couldn't wait to dive into it. I was literally MIA till I finished reading it. Of course the "Shopaholic" series are my favorite, but I also LOVE The Undomestic Goddess (Ha, Ha Taylor Boo!!) and Remember Me.
2.
I love Lauren's books. She is my other favorite author. I wish I could write like she does. I think she is a brillant writer. So spot on with women, men, trends and society. I almost majored in English bc I dreamed of becoming a writer and writing books like these. Great summer reads!!
Other faves:
I have read the "Something Borrowed" but not "Something Blue yet." I LOVED this!
and
I LOVE KATE WHITE!! I LOVE mysteries, and who better to write a saucy, sexy mystery than the editor of Cosmoplitan, My Bible (in my younger days).
Ok, so I LOVE to read, espcially in the summer. There is nothing better than lounging in the sun reading a saucy romance novel, mystery, or "chick lit." I have to give honorable mention to James Patterson and Nicholas Sparks, but I share a LOVE-HATE relationship with Spark's books bc they always end in tragedy. Why??? Why do they always have to end in tragedy?? I have to say if you love Nicholas Sparks, but do not want to finish a novel in tears, try this one, it's a nice summer read and simply charming, and no tragedy (though I expected it at every turn the first time, treading carefully as I read it, bc I know his forte).
I can't wait to pick-up a great summer read, although I'm not sure when I'll find the time, but I have been dying to delve into a GOOD book!
Any suggestions...?
