Happy Easter!! Hop, Hop!!

While taking a walk the other day, Nikolina and I happened upon this beautiful Cherry Blossom Tree and that led to an impromptu photo shoot.  I just love these trees and they are only here for but a whisper and then they are gone, so I was so happy to have this opportunity to share in this treasure with the pumpkin.

Don't forget to leave carrots out for the Easter Bunny!

There is the smell of cinnamon coming from our kitchen...soon to be Carrot Cake!  Mmm...

You laugh out loud when you are tickled or thrown in the air or you find something funny, like when someone (mommy or mimi) is acting silly with you.

You LOVE food, and you are a champion eater.  You love big people food like meat, potatoes (especially potatoes) and you LOVE spaghetti.  You love to suck it up from the bottom of the noodle to the top, and you make a glorious mess!

You are not really found of sweets or other carbs/bread besides potatoes.

You love setting things specific places and putting things back in their place.

You LOVE your little Tykes Slide and Car that your Nana bought you for your 1st Birthday and your polka- dot Pottery Barn Chair from your Mommy and Daddy.  They are by far your favorite gifts this year!

"No more bribing me with sippy cups to keep me occupied while you take pictures of me in the snow in the WAY too cold temperatures for an 11 month old (and you STILL didn't get the shots you wanted because your mommy guilt kicked in and you felt bad for putting me out in the cold and had to bring me in before my little tootsies froze)?!"

Top 2 Things You CAN'T Live Without!!

1. Obviously, The Pumpkin and the Hubs and Family come first, along with the necessities of life (especially soap and hot water, ha!)...But, after saying that, I ran into this problem the other day.  I was with my family, had food, a roof over my head, and everything you could ask for, but I was without the 2 Things I needed the most, and I felt completely and utterly helpless...

In other news...my baby niece is coming today.  My sister-in-law's C-Section is scheduled for 2 pm.  Ha!!  I joked with my Sis-in-Law that it's as if she's ordering my niece out of a catalog (Babies on a schedule!)  Unfortunately, I don't think I am going to be able to make it up there to Chicago to see the new little pumperkin till Sunday (The pumpkin's 1st Birthday Party is Saturday).  It's going to be very hard for me bc I was there before my other Niece was born, and got to hold her in the hospital right after she was born.  But, it will probably be better to have a visit at home than in the hospital. 

It's going to be very hard for me to wait to see this little Princess, but I am SO excited!!  I also can't wait to see my brother, sister-in-law and 5 year old niece!  Hold on new baby girl, Auntie is coming...New Baby, Yeah!!
