Top Two Tuesday Favorite TV Shows.

Top Two Tuesdays hosted by Taylor at Jimmy Choos and a Baby Too.  You can see Taylor's Top Two picks and many other Mommas here: http://benandtay.blogspot.com/.

Ok, so many of yo ualready know that the hubs and I do not pay for cable.  We've gone back and forth with it, and have ultimately decided at least for about a year now, that we wouldn't pay for it anymore...so we have rabbit ears in the attic, and we get about 5 channels that are on a good all in service.  Sooooo...my choices are somewhat limited, Ha Ha!! But, I definently have to say that this Season I am REALLY into....

1. American Idol

Everyone this Season is SOOOOOO Talented, and so UNIQUE!!  I LOVE EVERYONE!!
I REALLY LOVE DIDI!

But also LOVE this girl-Katelyn!!  Look at that HAIR!!  OMG AMAZING!!
Like her too-Janell!!
Really they are all so amazing and so talented.  I am LOVING IT!!

(I have a thing for Blondes I think-cause I'm trying to get back to my roots-Ha, Ha!)

2. House

I know, I know..He's crass, and rude, and probably is a walking legal medical lawsuit nightmare, but...I still LOVE it!!  It's the one program I have remained faithful to for a number of years which is more than I can say for a lot of things.  I like the original cast and episodes the best, but it never fails to amaze me everytime I watch which I think is why I have remained so loyal and faithful!  Each new episode never disappoints in one way or the other.  Never fails to shock and amaze me what comes out of his mouth, ha!  I love Hugh Laurie, I think he's brillant on the show as "House."  When I was preggars with the Pumpkin, I used to watch House re-runs for two-three hours every night while I laid in bed.

But, since we're cheating...I also really LOVE this show:

and this one
30 Rock

which both come on Thursday Nights (where my faithful "Friends" used to reside).  Woo hoo!

And, wow, this is HARD, seriously cheating here, Ha!
I also (when I'm home during the day) "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "Oprah."

When we had cable...I also LOVED "The Girls Next Door" and
"The Housewives of Orange County-OC!!!"

Nothing really to report from this weekend.  I think I'm getting Cabin Fever, and just ancy for some warmer weather.  I actually don't mind the winter cloudy overcast (Makes for GREAT photo lighting!!), but just ready for some warmer days!!  Just thought I would upload some photos from Valentines Day Brunch with my parents and in-laws to brighten this cold Monday Winter Morning.

I visited my dear friend's baby on Sunday afternoon, so I will post a photo soon.  Aren't babies amazing!!!!  They are such a blessing!!

My mother and father-in-law gave Nikolina a Little Tykes Slide that we set up this weekend.  At first, I couldn't get Nik to play on it.  I put her down the slide (which she enjoyed), and then tried to play peek-a-boo through the holes, but she wouldn't bite.  I put a blanket and toys in the middle to make a little welcome area inside, but she just pulled them out and ran off with them.  Finally, later that afternoon, I myself went down the slide, and she thought it was the funniest thing ever, and she quickly crawled over, and in one try, climbed up the slide HERSELF!!  She proceeded to do it over and over again, and then played on the top.

Although trying to go down the slide backwards still poses a challenge bc she falls over the side edge, and yes, banged her head TWICE on the wood floor.  I put some pillows at the bottem of the slide in case she needed them, didn't think to put them on the side of the slide, oops!!  She was so funny.  She screamed bloody murder this blood curdling scream, then proceeded to cry all the way back up the slide to do it again!!  Ha, ha!!  I will post a photo soon!  We sent photos to Nana and Grandpee.  Thanks Nana and Grandpa!

Hope everyone has a great Monday!!

Top Two Dream Vacations.

Top Two Hosted by Taylor at Jimmy Choos and a Baby Too!!!

You can see Taylor's Top Two picks of the week, and many other Mommas Here:
http://benandtay.blogspot.com/.

1. Our Honeymoon.  My Dream Vacation would be, If I could, to re-live our Honeymoon.  Our honeymoon was the MOST WONDERFUL two weeks of my life.  My husband and I took off for TWO WHOLE weeks, with the back of our Tahoe loaded down with waaaayyyy too much luggage (I'm a compulsive over-packer, Ha!) and went on a road trip.  I determined if we could spend two weeks in a car together and travel thousands of miles, then we could whether any storm!  We traveled from our home address through Oklahoma ("Wher the wind comes rolling through the plains..."), New Mexico, Anthem, Scottsdale, Prescott, Sedona through Durango, Colorado, and returned back home two weeks later.  We shot automatic weapons at a gun rage in Scottsdale, AZ, went off roading through the Red Rock Mountains of Sedona, visited the Grand Canyon, and drank margaritas by the pool and hot tub for nearly a straight week!  It was absolute Heaven!  I even got to go shopping!!  My husband's parents have a BEAUTIFUL home in Anthem Arizonia where we spent some time.  We were married in October, so the weather was absolutely beautiful that time of year there, and as we headed through Colorado on the way back, we could see some snow capped mountains!!  I even had to purchase some warmer clothes near the end of our trip as it turned colder as we headed through Colorado!  I keep telling my husband when we retire w should go back and forth between Arizonia and Colorado.  I told him I could own a little shop in Durango, he could be a local Forest Ranger and we could live up in the mountains!!  It's so beautiful there, with the water, the trees, and the mountains!!  I don't have any pics to share (though there were loads) maybe I can find some to add later, but I found these via the internet to timeline our journey for you...

Oklahoma

New Mexico
Anthem, AZ

Sedona

Durango, Colorado

2. Chicago.  Ok, so Chicago is only 2 hours North of us, but I still consider it to be one of my ABSOLUTE favorite places to visit!  My Brother (Sister-in-Law and Niece, soon to be Nieces), and my husband's sister and her fiance live there.  It's the Windy City, with Lake Michigan, home to skyscrapers, old world styles and history, museums, art, theatre, music, Beautiful at Christmas Time, there's AMAZING shopping there, and home to the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Cubs!!  Every year for my Birthday, I ask my husband to take me to a Cubs Game, and that's want I want again for my Big 30!!  I'd love for it to be a warm Spring/Summer day, and be at a Cubbie Game in Chicago drinking an Old Style and eating a Stadium dog.  Ahh, heaven!
